Residing in Oklahoma for over four decades, Dana draws inspiration from the rich cultural history of the state's diverse peoples. Her fascination with western art traces back to her grandfather, a Texan cowboy whose tales kindled her artistic journey. Despite the loss of her Cherokee ancestry, Dana finds solace in depicting Native American themes, endeavoring to preserve and share the depth of their heritage through her artistic narratives.
Dana currently resides by the shores of Grand Lake in Northeast Oklahoma, drawing endless inspiration from the picturesque landscapes and vibrant local culture. Her latest artistic works manifest this deep-rooted affection, with her paintings portraying the essence of the lake and its surrounding vistas.
